horologist
I finally obtained the right tube to screw onto crown of my Omega replica watch, but ran into a dead end when I removed old tube to replace the new one and discovered that it was too loose to press into the case. Apart from epoxy which I am not too keen on, is there any other way which a crown tube can be made to fit firmly onto the case? I was advised that the replica case would take a genuine crown and tube, but have been unsuccessful. Edited January 20, 2014 by horologist
imajedi
Had the same problem on a 42 mm V5. Ended up using a 2 part epoxy, which like you I wasn't keen on, but it did work perfectly.
