marlin22
Lovely! Would you mind sharing more info about the 210? Did you do mods? Case shape - I've heard of blunt edges... Thanks A Hi A, The 210 started as an H factory watch, I replaced the movement with one of my fully modded all Asian Noob movements and reassembled it. I replaced the movement because the H fac. movement has the text printed on the bridges and the Noob is engraved like gen. it is now a true super rep and a beautiful dress watch. The vintage watches use the Silix case set, and they needed reshaping. You are correct the edges need to be thinned out. I also soldered the lugs to look gen and on the X Mas I added wire lugs to it and custom engravings to the case back. Both are using 6497 movements so they can be used daily with no performance issues. These were prototypes that I built for myself so I didn't use the best finished movements however on the production runs they will carry a fully modded and custom engraved 6497 in homage like the one below
Akira
Marlin, thanks for the info. I was asking about the edges of the 210. Some members said the case hasn't sharp enough edges to mirror the gen case look. Any thoughts on that?
marlin22
The edges on this one were not bad so I didn't do any reshaping. That said reshaping will not be easy because there are engravings where the reshaping needs to be performed.
