simstre Posted January 31, 2014 Report Posted January 31, 2014 it only took 5 days from China to Canada! The insert is actually a bit dull, not pitch black. But overall, loving it, too bad I can't wear it right away as the band needs to be adjusted. Anyone in Vancouver, BC knows a good place to go for this? or do I just go to a watch shop at a mall? Here it is
markiemark Posted January 31, 2014 Report Posted January 31, 2014 Stunning piece you got! It's quite easy to size the bracelet if you know how to handle a screwdriver
icoopernicus Posted January 31, 2014 Report Posted January 31, 2014 agreed, if you plan to buy reps, you better learn to adjust your own bracelets. All you need is a jewellers screwdriver, the submariner bracelet is one of the easiest bracelets to adjust due to the simple screwed links. Give it a shot and get that bad boy on your wrist
Mike on a bike Posted January 31, 2014 Report Posted January 31, 2014 The guys are correct about resizing but any jewler should be able to do if you do not like messing with it.
simstre Posted January 31, 2014 Author Report Posted January 31, 2014 Done deal, never seen this easy bracelet haha. thanks guys!
fraggle42 Posted January 31, 2014 Report Posted January 31, 2014 Whilst not wanting to tar all tiny keymakers / "watch repairers" with the same brush, my local one marked the bracelet on the watch I took in for resizing a while ago, and marked the case back of another which needed a battery change. IMO most of them should stick to making copies of keys. Nowadays I'm happy changing any bracelet, but have (just) bought another bracelet pin pusher outer kit thingy
