ginOtreo
Hi, Does anyone know any "trick" how to get your money back when you got a refund? The story is: In early September 2013 I orderd a watch from a trusted dealer and some days later he answered that the watch were out of stock. He offered a refund and because I did not find any other watch I wanted, I took the refund. But the money is stuck at the company that handles money (in this case it was "Hooppay.com") Still this day 13/2 -2014 I have not recieved my money (it was like $250). I´ve e-mailed the trusted dealer about this, and they cannot do anything about it. Does anyone have the same story, and maybe a good outcome? What did you do? SSTEEL
Welcome to the forums, sorry to hear about this issue with your refund. How did you pay the TD, WU?
ginOtreo
Thank you! I payed with CC. I understand that It can be risky to buy. Im just sad that its the people in between me and the TD thats cause this.. I bought the watch from another TD that had the watch in stock. So im now a happy rep owner. I now know (and recommend) that if the TD dont have the watch in stock, wait for it or choose another watch. The TD will do all they can for you to be happy, but they cannot control the company that control the money transfer. Best regards, Thomas
KB
Hi Thomas, If my read is correct the TD has refunded the money but your payment processor has not released it to your bank, is that right? If so the problem will be beyond the TD's control as he has forfilled his obligation. Can you, instead of banking the money, use the money again to purchase from somewhere else?
