I have the opportunity to pick a gen dial for a good price, just want to know for sure if it can be done....all help is appreciated.... dbane883 Posted February 17, 2014 Report Share Posted February 17, 2014 Even if it does fit (which I'm fairly certain it will), how will you attach it to the movement? I'm assuming you are using an eta 2836 or similar. If so you'd have to cut (egads!) the feet and slap it on with some dial dots. Alternatively get a gen 3135... But I doubt that would fit in a cartel rep case easily. IMHO, a gen dial without gen hands is a non starter. I'd say skip on the gen dial and apply that money to another project - unless you are willing to go down the gen movement route.
