TVG Posted March 5, 2014 Report Posted March 5, 2014 I'm looking for someone to be able to tell me the movement of this piece from the photo. Your time and expertise is appreciated.
kbh Posted March 6, 2014 Report Posted March 6, 2014 I think it's a Seagull ST-26 a Chinese copy of the ETA 2892-2.
mosyzlak Posted March 6, 2014 Report Posted March 6, 2014 +1 Seagull ST26, the 6 o'clock balance wheel has straight spokes and the plates are re-finished/detailed. ETA and GZ versions of this design (2836-2) have angled wheel spokes and non-detailed plates.

StormTooper4 Posted March 10, 2014 Report Posted March 10, 2014 I'm guessing thats from a 312/320 , I would consider carefully any purchase purely based on what I've seen on the Datewheels of these movements. There are much better to be had

There are much better to be had Luckily I wasn't looking to purchase the watch, I was just interested in the movement a particular dealer was using. Thanks for your thoughts.
