Anyone ever replicated a Cosmograph Yachtmaster?

Some people call it Rolex Yacht Master Prototype, Cosmograph Daytona, Yachtmaster Daytona, etc...

 

Has anyone ever replicated this? or at least replicated a replacement dial for the Daytona?

 

Any feedbacks, info is appreciated.

Did Rolex produce a special movement for the prototype or did they just make changes to the dial?

Not sure. But i think its only the dial. Do correct me if im wrong.

Would love to learn as well.

I too think that's a way cool cosmo. I've checked w/ a dial maker that I've used successfully & he can do them. The hitch is that a screen has to be made for the project. I believe the screen is $350 & the printing on my dial is about a $100...I'd consider sharing the screen cost & we'd own it..Your thoughts, mcotter@skbk.com
