Noob factory PO ceramic (pic heavy)

Took ownership today from the helpful people at torro. Very happy and after rocking a BK sub c for a week this is growing on my every second. Very happy.

A few notes on the spec from the site:

DESCRIPTION: Ceramic Bezel 2012 Planet Ocean

CASE: 316L Stainless steel

MOVEMENT: Asian ETA 2836 Automatic Movement, 28800bph

DIMENSIONS: 42mm x 16mm

CRYSTAL: Sapphire with Double AR Coating

Now pics, I've tried to be as thorough as possible but my phone doesn't do macro and it's not had a buff so comes covered in fingerprints. None the less I hope you get a feel for the product and it's quality.

Is the 'He' valve functional? I believe the one I purchased is from the BP Factory (Trusty Time). The 'He' valve is more recessed and does not stick out as much. I believe it is supposed to stick out further (as per the gen).

Thanks fellas. Frost, the HE valve does lock out about 1.5 turns so I suppose it could be functional but I can't guarantee it? It won't be going near the sea though

Weight is 187g the gen shows on Amazon at 190g but dunno how accurate Amazon's figure is.

It is. Someone at RWI is making the first Cr PO franken and took apart the watch. The HEV does indeed have a spring-loaded valve to release positive over pressure in the case just like gen and it appears to be functional. The gaskets were in place and even greased which was another pleasant surprise.

 

Indeed on mine, I can unscrew it about one turn or so too.

Too bad they can't get the print on the bezel right. I have one with a misaligned print as well, very off-putting.
