It is. Someone at RWI is making the first Cr PO franken and took apart the watch. The HEV does indeed have a spring-loaded valve to release positive over pressure in the case just like gen and it appears to be functional. The gaskets were in place and even greased which was another pleasant surprise. Indeed on mine, I can unscrew it about one turn or so too.

Looks fine to me if you can live with the "2". In real life it's probably totally unnoticeable.

Rolled up ball of duct tape works wonders too. Inexpensive and no risk of scratches.

12, 9, and 6 markers look slightly crooked to me. Got to decide for yourself whether you'd notice these minute flaws in the flesh. I thought the LMPO was OOS? So PT can get them from the maker?

When I recieved my 111 from InTime, I experienced the exact same problem. A little searching shows problems with the keyless works are known with the a6497. Off it went to my watchsmith to fix the crown as well as waterproof, regulation, and clean a thumbprint on the movement and caseback sapphire. If you're not comfortable doing the fix yourself, you can always send it to a modder and ask your TD to help offset this cost. Sending it back is typically not recommended if the problem is an easy fix.

Are you aware that this is not the most accurate 116610? There are better versions.

Watch Prince sells spring bars that fit the noob and BP sub c bracelets. Just like gen, they accept 2mm spring bars. Get the ones with the slotted shoulders. They are like 3 bux per pair. Will fit the BP bracelet perfectly with zero play. On the noob, I found I had to wrap with a single layer of cellophane tape to eliminate a minute degree of play. I have a BP with noob bracelet fitted. The BP bracelet was OK but I could tell the noob was superior in more ways right out of the box. First, the BP feels less finished as the edges are sharper on the bracelet and some aspects of the clasp are intolerably sharp. Second, when closed, the fold-over part sits much higher and results in the clasp floating further away from the wrist. Very ungen-like. Finally, while the glidelock did work and ratchet to different positions within the clasp, it did not have the positive solid action of the noob bracelet and was more prone to slipping if, for example, you opened the clasp too quickly. The noob fits the BP case perfectly. Just slightly recessed from the lugs and the brushed surface matches the finish of the BP case. Zero lug gap or play after I wrapped some 2.0mm gen-sized bars with a single layer of cellophane tape. As we all know, lug gap issues are an obvious tell that plague many v2 noobs. Mine cost an extra 85 USD from my dealer. It's not cheap but well-made bracelets never are. A super oyster from Yobokies or Tungchoy for a Seiko would cost about the same but would not have the highly convenient glidelock clasp.

Which has better lume?

How does the lume on the noob v2 compare to BP? Anyone know if the lume has been improved for 2013? I understand V1 has rep quality lume while BPs are noticeably better. To me, this would be THE deciding factor since I'm a lume nut.
