Justasgood
I had some time on my hands so I went at an old Polex Shitinerand and tried my hand at modding the CG's. All opinions are welcomed and if anyone has an eta movement spacer or a NO-Date Rolex dial , I could really use them for my sub project. Thanks in advance, Kurt. gioarmani
The symetry in shapes need to be evened out just a bit (and possibly adding a few more stages of different grits os sandpaper to make them a bit smoother--might just be the photo, but it appears as though there's a few hair scratches still in the metal), but for a novice, they're pretty good! Also, if you want to spring the extra $ for it, don''t use Cape Cod or other polishing cloths to finish them off--invest in a Dremel & some good jewelers rouge. I figured I needed a little more work on them. I have the Dremel but need the correct rouge. I have a bar of the Green and need some finer grit paper to smooth out the finished product....
