rower
I'm building Rolex 16800 with gen dial, gen hands, gen insert, BK date wheel overlay, ST case, re-shaped, gen specs, TC bezel assembly, gen crystal no LEC, gen crown. All the parts are with SpeedyG. Once I get it back I will do a full write up. I have a gen and after a Rolex service I got a few parts back. I got the gen hands, gen insert and thought that I would love to use my old parts in the build. Here is a picture of my serviced 16800. I was pretty [censored] when they refused to give me my T dial back.
alligoat
Nice looking 16800! You're seeing more of them with the 'Swiss Made' dials and SL hands these days. If you're trying to hang on to an old Tritium dial before going in for service, you'd need to get a sacrificial dial and install it on your watch first. Look forward to seeing your franken build.
