prdubis
Hi mates I have several 6263 dials in my parts box and was requesting experts help about accuracy. I thin two are for 7750, and one is for V72 but I don't know which one. Here are the pics: This one looks for 7750, right? And what about this case? Is it for V72? Thanks all for your help! lhooq
All three appear to be old DW dials for the V72. These are some of the best aftermarket 6263 dials available. Unfortunately, I don't know an easy way of telling a V72 case from a 7750 (or a Mystery Movement). Maybe it's one of the early DW cases? Could you post a shot directly from the side to show the lug profile? And another shot from directly overhead?
fabioliveri
pushers are asymmetrical , so, should fits v72, I have a DW case for V7750 which fits perfectly V72, moreover, V7750 hasn't the asymmetrical pusher positions…. as per dials, show feet position with crown at 12 O'clock

All of DW's 7750 cases have an asymmetrical pusher layout, so this isn't a visual identifier.

fabioliveri
jajaja, mate, try to set a v 7750 with asym pushers….do you know what Kind of work???? If asy. pushers, 85% V72 should work , if not a bit of dremel and everything ok…. but how you asked about profile…let me know how the hell u can see if fits v72 watching the profile….. in anycase, yes dials are for v72
lhooq
prdubis: Looks like you have one of DW's newer cases i.e. 2011 or later. jajaja, mate, try to set a v 7750 with asym pushers….do you know what Kind of work???? Do you even own a DW 6263 with a 7750 inside? I've had one since 2009, and a lot of guys here at RWG have owned them since 2006. Trust us: The pushers are asymmetrical.

fabioliveri
I have had v 7750 and now v72 told you that I know dw cases has asy pushers but fits a v7750 its a hard job as v7750 has different pusher position dont u know? So said that especially for dw cases you can put inside the v72 sure of that then do what u want in any case if u have the v72 put it inside if work good if not change case Enviado desde mi iPhone con Tapatalk

cc33
Looks like a v72 case the 7750 would have a little piece of metal in the case coming from the pusher to reach the pushers mechanism on the 7750.

Yes, the stock 7750 has symmetric pushers. So what? Rep Daytonas with 7750s (and ST19s) have had asymmetric pusher configurations for years, it's not complicated.
