no gen movement is 3135 the new style,looks quite nice.obviously not very gen looking,but pretty still.the v3 dwo has been realined all numbers are bang in centre

i ment to say i have a3135 new style

So you cut off the feet on a gen dial??

not sure accually i didn't think about that.probably because other than drilling holes in the movement im not sure how else you can fit it

Only way to fit gen dial to an ETA clone is to cut feet. .

whats the issue with cutting the dial feet ? I don't see a problem as long as its installed.and gen dials ain't that expensive anymore

No issue with cutting the dial feet live, was just interested to know how your gen dial was fitted. The dial must be fixed somehow?

I'm only curious because I have to make the same call, now I see its possible Im pleased!

ok cool i assume he cut the feet off then.im not worried because i wouldn't sell the dial anyway .good thing is gen mk3 dials have not been repped yet so its lovely having it installed

I had the same views, gen dial cut the feet? Will I ever sell the dial? No once my franken is complete it will sit proudly in my collection for a while!

sadly the watch will always shout fake because crown position is too low plus Sels give it away every time but as long as you are happy with all that money spent then that's all that matters. wear in good health!

yes having non recessed sel is the only flaw.unfortunately a flaw that all reps have,i really hope the v4 has sharp recessed sel

luckily this build was cheap lol.and when the v4 or a version with sunken sel arrives ill put my parts on that.any modders know a way to recess the sel below the lugs?
