Cheapo tudor 94110 build help

Hi all-

Looking to put together a 94110 snowflake on the cheap. I'm not super anal about parts accuracy. Pouring over threads, I've come to the conclusion that I need:

Josh 1680 (has a reconditioned 2846)

Yuki dial and hands

Clark insert

Will these all fit together nicely?

A really easy one if you have never built anything before is to get a Cartel 5512/5513 with a clone 2836 and do a dial and hand swap.  Later you can do a different bezel insert and pearl, large lug-holes, and engrave the back.

Hello all,

I am new to the forums and the rep world and I’ve been looking and lurking throughout the different forums trying to understand what I need for my first rep snowflake project. It took some serious browsing to finally figure out what cartel is, who Josh is and how different sellers use different cases and dial diameters. This post has been very helpful and I think I am ready to buy the parts but I would appreciate some advice and pointers just want to make sure I got the right components before I pull the trigger.

I want to do a date sub snowflake and just like bearbearbear I arrived at the conclusion that I need a cartel case from Josh and a yuki dial to start the build. Depending on how much more time and money I want to spend on the watch I may refine the watch later on but for now I just want to install the dial and hands on a Josh 1680.

My plan is to go for a 1680 with a 2836 movement listed on Josh’s site and order the dial and hands from Yuki. I’ve also read horrible comments about the crown so I may try that next as well as the clark’s crystal change.

My question is:

Josh has two versions of the 1680 one with a 2836 and another with a 2824. Would either of these two work for just a simple yuki dial and hands swap? I am looking at these models on Josh's site (sorry I cannot post links)

Thank you in advance for the help!
