amv8
Can an AP 15400 be frankenized? I just purchased my first rep 15400 miyota and once I learn the in's and out's of how to make a franken watch I'd like to build this one out. Prob with Gen Dial, gen movement if even possible, etc... mm..mm
I think most franken are based on an 42mm offshore. The take a while to built an parts have become more scarce. I have yet to see one for a 15400. If you come across any 15400 dial, please let me know, I would love to build a franken of that model as well. Guest
I have seen ONE 15400. One. Yes the parts are impossible to find. The offshore is much easier because back in the day there was less restrictions on who could order spare parts from AP. Then they wised up and the parts are rapidly drying up. All you can find now are some dials and tachy rings. Sent from my GT-I9500 using Tapatalk
martijnp
As long as you can find the parts, you can make a franken but the parts for the 15400 are very rare and hard to find, I don't know if I ever saw a franken 15400..
