simstre
Hi guys, My month-old IWC 3777 needs some love. Looks like its gears are broken, the date/day wheels weren't moving and stuck at a weird positon, then now the hour and minute hands aren't moving either. I've tried to find a local watch smith who would/be able to fix this, haven't found any yet. (Located in Vancouver, Canada) Any advice? I've contacted the TD and it will be $90 + shipping from here to China.
SSTEEL
Sounds like those issues may of been caused by a loose dial.
panerai153
I strongly recommend that you find a watchsmith in the USA or Canada. Shipping back as you found out is very expensive, a long drawn out process, plus you are going to expose it to Customs going into China, and Canadian customs on the way back. Too much drama and expense. Sent from my iPad using Tapatalk
GenTLe
Ssteel, there's nothing you can really do if it's one of those bloody Asian 7750 with sec @6. It is intrinsically a bad movement... Best idea is to Franken it with an original and specifically Iwc movement
