3777 arrived despite serious trouble

Best 3777 from Toro arrived!

 

Stopped by the C#stoms and they have even openend it (wrappings and all) to have a close look at it, but it was released without trouble and arrived at my door

 

Lets hope they have not messed with it

 

More later...expect a review by Sunday afternoon...now back to work

I had a v6 diver and LMPO opened and repackaged by customs. I guess these super reps are too hard to distinguish without watch smiths and I doubt they have the budget to employ watch smiths and experts. They can't just assume due to the country of origin or we cry discrimination right?

Better deterrent to hold for a while and send it on clearly opened to give a message. Bigger fish to fry and all that....

Btw CHRONOGRAPH was functional so safe on that front...setting accurate time is an effort on this......

I thought they were double AR'd. I remember reading some complaints of the crystal being slightly milky at certain angles. Have they corrected it?

Looks fantastic. I'm not an IWC man but this is watch is definitely on my list. You're wristy adds another tic in the "got to buy one of these" column, despite the 1 sided AR. I'm glad yours came through customs in one piece.
