Subc Noob v3 & J12

So now the J12 Subc is out, how does it stand against the Noob v3?

 

Both $368. Noob v3 is slightly better imo...

noob v3 is better,because it has better cg and rehaut engravings.

j12 has thicker dial printing. don't know if it is better or more gen like...

Which has the better bezel insert and bracelet?

both have same insert,braclet about the same on both.the crown on fliplock on the v3 is different to the j12 fliplock logo,but there both wrong compared to gen

Do you know if the J12 will accept a gen crystal gasket?

 

I know in the BP (for example), the crystal gasket is a bit thicker, hence the retaining ring is a bit wider.  As a result, on cannot use gen crystal gasket.

 

Is that the case with the Noob and the J12?.  That is, will the existing bezel assemly accept a gen crystal/gen crystal gasket?

on my noob im using a gen crystal gasket.i suppose you can also use a gen gasket on the j12.i know people who has fitted a gen gasket on the bp aswell.i sanded my bp gasket to gen spec.because i could not rotate the bezel using gen gasket on that watch.

the crystal gasket on the j12 and noob are both way to big causing the crystal to be to tall and over magnify the date.gen crystal is a must on any rep with a date

Odd.. I tried a gen gasket on the BP and it was not wide enough (outside diameter) for the BP bezel assembly.. Had to re-use the gasket it came with.

Bp gasket is thicker than gen specs. Noob and j12 need 2.35 height gasket not 2.7 they come with.

some people have posted that they used a gen gasket on the bp but my experienced modders could not get it to fit,so im not sure i believe the bp will take a gen gasket un modded.
