Hi all,

So I have a LMPO on the way, my first rep. I've heard they are a nightmare to take links out for fitting the bracelet and I don't fancy giving it a crack.. Will a jeweller in town be able to do this without the problems other people are having?

Many thanks in advance

The jeweler will use his pin removal tool like the other guys that did the same.

So he will have troubles too, and eventually refuse to do that on a watch not bought from him...

Mine actually did it but not without complaining...

It really isn't that bad, as long as you have patience and are careful.   I did mine in about 20min, removing 3 links.   Definitely need a metal pin pusher as the pins are quite tight.

Be sure you follow the arrows on the inside of the band so you push the pins out in the proper direction.   Then, be sure to push them back in the other way.

Whatever you tap them back in with, be careful as the link ends will mark up easily and the pins can bend easy.   A plastic faced hammer for the last couple of taps in would be ideal.   Just take your time, stay calm and don't whack the hell out of it in frustration!   ;-)

Oh dear, looks like I will have to purchase a pin removal tool, get on youtube and give it a go....
