CrPO Bezel Insert swap

Hi all,

I've been searching extensively on how to remove the bezel insert on the CRPO (Bp). I've seen recommendation to use a hair dryer to heat up the bezel. I have not been able to get that to work.

What's the easiest way to remove the bezel insert?

If you can remove the movement block and the crystal, you can easily remove the insert from the inside softening the glue in warm water. I did and It was a very simple task.

take a polishing cloth or a very thin cloth. put it between your finger tips and the bezel. 

pull up and work your way around the bezel. it should pop up halfway around the watch.

 

then you can push the insert out through the back and glue the new one in.

be careful not to bend the bezel while you do this.

 

the other way is take a xacto knife and try to get it between the insert and the bezel.

 

dont put too much heat to it. you could screw up a lot of things by applying too much heat to a watch.
