Columbus > Cincinnati or Cincinnati > Columbus?

Anyone who lives in Ohio, please chime in.

I will be in Ohio for business in a couple weeks.  I have a choice to fly in and stay either in Columbus or Cincinnati....which pill should I take?

Without being to either, my instincts say Columbus.. only because its the home of the Buckeyes.  But then again, WRKP was a decent show ("As god is my witness, I thought turkeys could fly")

Honestly, Columbus has a lot more going for it nowadays, even without taking sports into account.  It's one of the fastest growing cities in Ohio, and has a pretty nice entertainment / bar district downtown.  My sister went to OSU, and I had been there many years before when it was my turn to look at colleges, and in just that short time I noticed a huge change in the dynamic.  Cincinnati isn't necessarily a bad choice either, but there are more questionable areas down there than there are in Columbus, and the nice parts are definitely more in the suburbs than the city itself.  If you're looking to actually spend time outside of the hotel or whatever, my vote is with C-bus.

Having lived in both cities, I'd easily pick Cincinnati. It's not even close really, unless you are a college student or die hard Buckeyes fan that wants to see a game.

A lot more to do there. Better nightlife, better restaurants, Bengals and Reds, better casino options. I could go on.

Columbus is a very spread out town. Most of the good spots are downtown and north. Not much going on south of I-71 other than the casino.
