jcrystal23
Checking the new arrivals on Pure Time today, as I normally do about a 100 times a week, and I saw that JF has come out with a Milgauss GV. Also it happens to about $80 more than the noob version introduced just a couple of months back. The noob version is fairly high on my list right now, but with the JF curve thrown in, not sure which to get. Any thoughts from the Rollie experts on this? Rivi1969
Having checked a gen Milgauss -and several others on an Rolex AD -and having a gen Datejust too) I can tell both crowns in the dial are wrong. Genuine ones has a 3d effect on the little round tips that I havent seen in a rep yet, they always look flat. That is why is easy to reproduce a Submariner dial because the crown is just printed. The JF looks more refined overall I think.
markiemark
Im no expert, but the SEL fits better and the dial looks better to me on the JF...

prdubis
I fear the gen dial will be very difficult to replicate, as it goes from aqua blue to turquoise and even deep biue, and sunburst...
