patekman
I see all TrustyTime that several watches are listed as having a "hack movement." Can somebody please define exactly what that is? Does this mean that the seconds-hand moves like a Japanese movement and is not smooth and continuous like a Swiss? Thanks for your patience! KB
Hi all hack means is that if you pull the crown out past the setting time position the movement will stop, this can be seen by the second hand stopping. Ken
Devedander
Hacking signal refers to the ability of the watch to freeze the second hand while the time is being set. This allows you to set the time more accurately. With no hacking signal the second hand ticks all the time making it very hard to sync up with your time source.
