bklm1234
I just bought Andrew's explorer II. The bezel was installed a little off. I need to turn it counter-clockwise a bit. Can someone tell me how to pop it out and place it back? Thanks. Edited December 13, 2006 by bklm1234
lionsandtigers
from what i know, and i could be wrong, but in my experience with the explorer, the bezel is glued down, so getting it off might be a bit of a hassle, but it will come off, just like any other, a very thin knife btw the bezela nd the case, and snap that sucker off. clean off whatever glue is there, then re-apply. of course, i might be wrong, but the last explorer II i had, vintage mcqueen style, from andrew, was glued. bklm1234
Yikes. I hope it's not epoxy or something strong like that.
ubiquitous
My experience has also been that the solid metal, non-rotating bezels are simply tension fit. Slide a razor in between the case and the bezel, work your way around the diameter to evenly lift, and it should come off, no muss, no fuss. Press back on in the correct orientation, and you're set.
