dabolzich
Hello All, I am infrequent visitor here looking for some help. I have a SuperOcean Heritage SS Black RB - Asia ETA 2824 and the crown will not stay "closed". I assume its stripped. Can anyone recommend someone in the US who can help me fix this? dabolzich
Anybody out there with some ideas for me? Ive spoke with the original seller, Andrew, from Trustytime. He is unable to help, stating that this watch is no longer being made by the same factory.. I tried Vac and he does not have the parts. Thoughts? Thanks! dabolzich
Excuse my ignorance, panermaniac.. Are you suggesting that I replace it with a genuine tube and crown?
panermaniac
I, myself, have never done it, but I've heard that it can be done. I've seen OEM sets on the Bay. Worth a shot!
krpster
It is the only option for repair. Only other thing you can do is eliminate the screw down part and shorten the stem so that the crown sits flush to the case in winding position.
