peepoez
Greetings, one and all, new member here to say hello! Call me Joe, I'm currently in my early 20's, I've been intrigued by watches since I was in elementary school. Got my first replica in middle school; being that I live in NYC, its not difficult to come across them. Something about replicas...to me, it's a form of art to be able to reproduce something to a high degree of accuracy. Anyway, within a few years, I found myself owning many replicas, though the quality was mediocre at best. I was especially impressed when I found a pretty good submariner replica that had a genuine ETA 2836 movement...a swiss fake Rolex?! At this time, I own a few watches including: gen 16030 Blue dial Datejust, gen Tag Heuer 1000 Professional, a few beater Wenger's. Replicas owned includes submariner with ETA 2836 (movement wonky, dial in rough shape, looking to eventually restore), an el-cheapo franken datejust with a gen dial that was meant for my 16030, and a few other cheap datejust reps lying around since a decade ago. I'm interested in acquiring some decent reps as well, and where better than from fellow people like myself in a forum such as this? Anyway, look forward to hearing from more of you guys around here soon!
