Guest sharkrun20
Received a WM9 BK version off a member. Took a chance and only had one photo prior to purchase. Can anyone confirm or tell me what photos to take for confirmation?
lukenorris2011
Looks good too me, the red hand does look better than the burgundy type that normally comes from a bk Life's a [censored], then you marry one!

Bc1221
Take the bezel off and see if it's gen construction. I believe WM9 YMs were the only reps of this made with gen construction. Looks good though.
ceocorona
Looks like a Sean case YM to me. Dial and bezel do not look like a wm9. Sel fit looks sean. They were known to have a "ok" sel fitment. Sean case YM is the most gen like YM available. Better then the wm9s. If you pop off the bezel insert I believe that the Sean bezel was substantially thicker then the thin tin piece wm9 used.
hunvaakaren
Sorry. I looked at the pics again. As Ceocorona says it looks like a Sean YM. The grey color on dial is lighter than wm9, wm9 has green ish lume and seans is white. Yachtmaster script on dial is thicker on wm9 also. So its a Sean YM. Guest sharkrun20
Good to know guys, thanks for the info. The other forum confirmed as a Sean YM too. Paid for a WM9 and got a Sean instead so I'm happy.

I have a WM9 that is being serviced at the moment...plan on swapping bracelets once that's done.

You may need to sand down the sel just a little to fit. Worthwhile mod.
