EbolaVirus
Maybe I should be polite and ask what type of movement this is. Sent from my Guide using the Sub-Etha Net.

EbolaVirus
So that's what it SHOULD look like... Thanks StormTrooper! Sent from my Guide using the Sub-Etha Net.
folex
The picture you showed is a Rep. 7750 Movement with modded plates to make it look like a P9000. As StormTooper has mentioned, the gen movement is different, built differently and the tell is the placement of the wheel. The biggest tell is the pinkish jewel, where the gen has a darker pink. Just notice also the detail around the gen movement where that jewel is located and you can see a vast difference between the gen and the rep. Best of luck, hope that helps.
EbolaVirus
These are pics of a very close friend's watch. He told me it was gen. I'm inclined to think he believes it is gen, because I witnessed the emotional roller coaster of waiting for delivery and the happiness once it arrived. Also, he treats it very differently to his reps (other reps). Do do I tell him and break his heart or let it go. I doubt he will ever sell it. I'm not sure what he is going to be able to do about it now anyway... Sent from my Guide using the Sub-Etha Net.
EbolaVirus
Also, the escape wheel seems to be not touching any other part, is not central on its jewel and seems to be oddly shaped. It may not be obvious in the pictures. Sent from my Guide using the Sub-Etha Net.
Nightwatch
It´s definitely the A7750 decorated to look as a P9000 with a fake escapement wheel. Here 2 pics of the "composite" titanium one:
StormTooper4
http://imageshack.com/i/nh92196340j That's an annoying story for your friend. I hope he can try to sort it out . It's an interesting caseback. I've not seen that number on a rep
