gioarmani Posted December 15, 2006 Report Posted December 15, 2006 Here's some shots from my gen: I've found some shots on here of the black dial version where the rep lume looks fantastic! Does anyone have any shots of the blue SMP lume? Feel free to post them here & show off your skills.
flavor flav Posted December 15, 2006 Report Posted December 15, 2006 nothing can touch the lume on genuine omegas! it's supposedly superluminova but it's much brighter than the superlume from ofrei i use. these things light up like a torch! pics just cannot capture how bright they glow. and any sign of light fires them up too! burns all night long.
gioarmani Posted December 15, 2006 Author Report Posted December 15, 2006 Is that a gen or a rep in your pic? Or are you referring to a different watch?

Gonna have to disagree with ya Flav! The Super Luminova that The Zigmeister uses (RC Tritec) is dead on to what Omega uses. Here is a comparison shot. On the left is my rep SMP which The Zigmeister re-lumed with C3, and on the right is my gen SMP: The luminous compounds that Ofrei sells are mislabeled, it is not Super Luminova. Jim
vaccum Posted December 15, 2006 Report Posted December 15, 2006 The lume Ofrei sells is not superluminova. Tritec Super-LumiNova is the real stuff. vaccum

gioarmani Posted December 16, 2006 Author Report Posted December 16, 2006 If that pic is of a rep straight from the box, before re-lume, holy Jesus. I hope the blue SMP is as good. If anyone else can take a pic of their newest one, please do!
