Done with a Dremel and I only removed the Crown and stem. Covered the Tube with tape and a steady hand.

You're welcome....It would be great to know what bits you used, what you used as a visual guide when you were working, and how you did the final polishing steps. Thanks in advance for the info....

Three grades of the Dremel thin sanding disc wheels were used. I had my loupe and a steady hand. Pictures of gens and my recollection of the 5 or so subs I've had helped.
