heavenstorm Posted January 21, 2015 Report Posted January 21, 2015 Hi guys, i need to source a 14k gold bezel for a gen 1675 GMT. i found it is hard to find. the only one i found selling this is wholesaleoutlet990 in ebay and it does not seem accurate. anyone ever buy from wholesaleoutlet990? will the parts fit the gen? any other sources for gold bezels?
tomhorn Posted January 21, 2015 Report Posted January 21, 2015 There are plenty of threads here regarding WSO. Both good and bad stories about dealing with him, I have always had good luck myself. His SS bezels have been used for 1675 builds successfully, but I don't recall anyone using a gold one. You'll have to do some searching on that one.
JoeyB Posted January 21, 2015 Report Posted January 21, 2015 I could be mistaken, but I think the bezel on the 1675 two-tone was 18K solid gold, and not plated. That's likely why it's missing, and same with the original bracelet. WSO will have a plated bezel, but for a genuine gold one, it might be hard to find and expensive.
