panerowe
I've got myself a 2892-2 that's in need of a little bit of care, but I'm thinking about what to put it in. Are there any vintage Tudor pieces that it would make sense inside of? Open to any and all suggestions
alligoat
Although the 2892-2 is a great movement, it's rarely used in reps. The chinese have copied it and there are a few reps that use it, but not Rolex reps that I'm aware of. You might be able to use it in a build where the 2824-2 would have been used, but it might require a small adjustment or spacer to get the stem to line up with the crown tube/crown. A late model Tudor which used a 2824-2 might be a good candidate. Good luck!
cambridgerwg
I think my old datejust used to work on a 2892 with a spacer ring. GREAT movement!
