KingBach Posted July 14, 2015 Report Posted July 14, 2015 http://www.pf-818.com/0omsp00181-speedmaster-dark-side-moon-cercer-os20-quartz-p-15933.html Hi guys, After buying several swiss eta movements on Omega, I decided to get a gen Aqua terra in the end which I am very happy with (hate the polished chrome which catches scratches like crazy). I wanted a nice looking everyday watch without having to worry about the mechanical movement etc and wanted to know if anyone had any experience with the above watch. I dont care too much about the movement just that the quality of the steel is good and I trust the miyota movement. I wanted to know if anyone had any experience with them! Thanks, Vincent
508-Fanatic Posted July 15, 2015 Report Posted July 15, 2015 I've held and worn the genuine, the rep imho isn't even close...
StormTooper4 Posted July 16, 2015 Report Posted July 16, 2015 I had this version I thought it was really good value but the glass wasn't the best quality, the case though was great. I replaced it with a sapphire looked much better but stuffed the movement up. Not happy
UmpaHimself Posted December 6, 2015 Report Posted December 6, 2015 The gen is made of crisp ceramic. The rep, especially the quartz is PVD plated steel and just doesn't do it.
