GetReplicaWatches
Hey guys, I've got the opportunity to purchase a Cartier Roadster, the "Vegas Dial" edition. It comes with the box and "instructions", but not the warranty papers. I have very little experience with dealing with Cartier watches, and therefore I don't know much about their resale appeal etc. I normally like to be able to sell my gen watches at least to break even. Does anyone have any advice on this? It's listed for £1,900 but I think I can bring him down a bit. Here's what the watch looks like: Edited October 26, 2015 by GetReplicaWatches

tomhorn
Well, the picture you posted is lifted from here, so I'd run if I were you.http://howtobeswell.com/2013/01/31/the-cartier-roadster/Not to mention it looks fake compared to this one on Chrono 24:http://www.chrono24.com/en/cartier/roadster-automatic-model-2510-las-vegas-dial--2nd-bracelet--id2397673.htm
mule play
I agree. The dial print, particularly on the numerals, looks chunky and rep. These are not my specialty, so I may be wrong. Have you considered a Franck Muller Vegas?
GetReplicaWatches
The picture isn't of the actual watch, that's just a Google images jobbie.I wanted advice in terms of pricing I should target to get a good deal.
tomhorn
Hard to say, since you don't have pictures of the actual watch, but certainly south of $2000, or you could just buy this one.http://forums.watchuseek.com/f29/fs-cartier-roadster-vegas-dial-2402722.html Edited October 27, 2015 by tomhorn
