Chargin55 Posted June 17, 2010 Report Posted June 17, 2010 Ok guys I am happy to say that I have now had my "ultimate" PO for 9 months now and can report that it is an excellent watch. Until recently I was too scared to wear it in the water but I took it in the surf every day for a week on a recent holiday and it literally has not missed a beat. This milestone made me so happy I had to report to you guys. What a great watch Cheers

I'd have it pressure tested and waterproofed when you get a chance. It definitely gives you peace of mind
plaifender Posted August 26, 2010 Report Posted August 26, 2010 update: Got my Gen crystal in the mail the other day... can't wait! Will have it installed along with crown and tube and new bracelet in the coming weeks. Eventually I'll get a gen dial for this.. Hopefully before new years! pics to come
Juice5610 Posted January 20, 2011 Report Posted January 20, 2011 I wish I would have read this thread before I ordered my first replica
Owin Posted January 22, 2011 Report Posted January 22, 2011 thats a 4 years old topic somebody should make new review
NYCreplica Posted January 23, 2011 Report Posted January 23, 2011 thats a 4 years old topic somebody should make new review Agreed. Please update.
The English Hacker Posted March 24, 2011 Report Posted March 24, 2011 Is there anything new to update? I've noticed that some dealers are selling a version with no happy feet now. Can anyone confirm that these watches are at least as good quality as the Ultimate?
jomama Posted April 3, 2011 Report Posted April 3, 2011 Are the sides of the links on gen brushed or polished. Could never find a photo that confirmed polished. Also was supposed to be waterproofed from Josh but only seem to get about half a turn in on the crown when screwing tight and no sign of rubber gaskets anywhere. Any insights? Thanks!

vexorg Posted May 25, 2011 Report Posted May 25, 2011 What bracelet or strap have you gotten or will get for this watch? I know the black rubber one is what's in the movie but I'm not sure if it is really for me.
Xanderain Posted June 12, 2011 Report Posted June 12, 2011 Bought one, love it, and mine came with the metal bracelet (which is nice). Also got an extra rubber strap for it, and after swapping it out this weekend, I love it even more. I have to say, though, the lume on mine is really bad (and uneven). But I'll just swap the bezel, hands, and dial like everybody else. Has anybody had any experience with the Ult 42mm red gold version? I really want one, but I fear that the gold may wear off eventually.

Xanderain Posted June 13, 2011 Report Posted June 13, 2011 So you like the rubber Strap over the metal? I am gonna order and have my finger on the trigger. More comfortable, don't have to get it adjusted, and never have to worry about scratching it.
finisterre Posted June 26, 2011 Report Posted June 26, 2011 Just checking in for the first time in ages! Did anyone ever release a black rubber strap for this that didn't keep popping out of place from between the lugs like mine and lots of other people's did? Thanks.
plaifender Posted June 27, 2011 Report Posted June 27, 2011 Ok... for all you Newer members that have just recently posted asking for a review... considered kind of bad etiquette... If you knew how much hard work went into a review.. (SEVERAL HOURS) post like.. "yes.. please do an update review" would make your skin crawl... On top of that.. why not start a new post on the topic asking about the new version.. Or better yet do some research.. there's quite a few post out there.. Simple use of the search button will render results. From what I understand it's exactly the same except for an updated dial logo.
Xanderain Posted June 29, 2011 Report Posted June 29, 2011 Got my rubber strap from replicamake88, fits perfectly. Was a bit pricey ($55), but then again, hell of a lot cheaper than the gen.
the_rymeister Posted September 25, 2011 Report Posted September 25, 2011 Hi guys I'm new to buying rep watches and the 45.5mm planet Ocean is the first on my list and was wondering what Happy feet is that everyone keep referring to? Cheers Ryan
DemonSlayer Posted September 27, 2011 Report Posted September 27, 2011 Happy feet refers to the upward turning at the ends on the Omega logo.
Max Kozak Posted February 28, 2012 Report Posted February 28, 2012 Another watch I have been interested in buying. Great review.
Zaskar20 Posted May 2, 2012 Report Posted May 2, 2012 Just ordered a 'no happy feet' version from Andrew. I think I've read recently that whilst this issue has been put right, there are a few issues else where. One of them being the spacing between the Omega word and logo. I'll post some photos when I get it.
oXdanXo Posted December 21, 2012 Report Posted December 21, 2012 What sort of price should I be looking at paying for a UPO? 1
indywatchguy Posted February 10, 2013 Report Posted February 10, 2013 Well here we are Toro seven years later and the Planet Ocean saga continues!
smartmind Posted February 18, 2013 Report Posted February 18, 2013 Great Review, hope to see further comments on movement.
B3nj4min3 Posted May 29, 2013 Report Posted May 29, 2013 Great review with excellent pictures and lots of useful information. Certainly helped make my mind up to buy it.
AndrewFuller Posted May 30, 2013 Report Posted May 30, 2013 I guess for the UPO the pricing should be between 155$ to 200$ if you are talking about the brand Omega..i was browing the internet for Planet ocean watches and it seems some other brands manuacture this category as well.
