Installing a gen coronet

So I have a gen coronet on the way to install on a DW 6239. If all goes well I will search for a couple more to do my other DWs.

Question for those that have done this--can I do this from the front side or must the dial be removed? I have had one DW apart and failed to note if the coronet was attached with a post or not. And getting the dang hands back on and aligned was NOT FUN so I would like to avoid that again if possible.

If I can remove carefully from the front I would love to know and tips for dial safety if you have them!

Thanks in advance!

Shucks, was hoping for a magic solution. I think I will wait for the next A7750 issue to arise and then replace when I have to replace the movement. Given the A7750 in 2 watches, that could be anywhere from 2 days to 2 years.
