Chuck P Posted December 4, 2015 Report Share Posted December 4, 2015 So I have a gen coronet on the way to install on a DW 6239. If all goes well I will search for a couple more to do my other DWs. Question for those that have done this--can I do this from the front side or must the dial be removed? I have had one DW apart and failed to note if the coronet was attached with a post or not. And getting the dang hands back on and aligned was NOT FUN so I would like to avoid that again if possible. freddy333 Posted December 4, 2015 Report Share Posted December 4, 2015 If the existing coronet is not affixed solidly, you might be able to finagle it from the front, but I would encourage you to remove the dial & do it properly. I think I will wait for the next A7750 issue to arise and then replace when I have to replace the movement. Given the A7750 in 2 watches, that could be anywhere from 2 days to 2 years.
