1980's 1016

I have a 60's 1016 from Rolojack that I am very happy with but would like to build an 80's 1016 with White lume

Does anyone know how close to gen spec the JMB V2 case is to an 80's 1016?

It's as good as you can find. 80s cases are thicker than the 60s cases- maybe they've been polished less, but probably Rolex thickened them up in the later years.

Keep in mind there isn't much else out there to chose from- maybe a Yuki case but those vary considerably. Only other option is to use a DJ case- 1601, 16000, or a 16200 and add a smooth bezel and crystal which you'd probably have to go to jmb for anyway.
