Found this on Andrew's site and I'm anxiously waiting for CNY to end so I can go order one.

Does anyone have experience with PVD coating on reps?    Will it hold up with moderate use?   I think I must have one!

No personal experience but PVD is about as tough as you can get. I've used it in industry and if something gets bashed hard enough to damage the coating, it would be hard enough to put a serious scratch into stainless. Only thing is stainless will polish out. Having said that if I thought I was going to be doing something to give my watch that kind of wack, I wouldn't be wearing a nice one.

ive been thinking about buying a PVD rep for a while, so it would be good to hear from someone who already has.
