GenTLe Posted February 28, 2016 Report Posted February 28, 2016 Guys, if some of you tinker, you know how it can be difficult to fit back the Swiss novodiac spring, due to the 3 slots in its place: They are not like the Asian where you can fit 2 sides of the spring and push the free one in the single slot. Therefore it is difficult. Well a good way to do it is create a tool. I started from the little copper tube that the fridges use for their thermostat (from a broken thermostat I had around in the lab). Cut and then shaped accordingly, you have a tool that makes the novodiac insertion VERY easy. 5s and the spring is IN: The bergeon tool costs like 40$. [censored] them. Free tool here and being copper doesn't scratch the steel around or the spring Cheers, GenTLe
