SA3135 Movement Yuki 3135 Interchangable Parts

I am very new to the rep watch game but I have ordered my first watch from TC. It is a NOOB V6S SA3135 movement DSSD Blue-Dial. I know that the movement is not the greatest but I plan on getting it serviced right away and seeing how long it last. When or if it craps out on me I wanted to go with a Yuki. In the meantime, I will be combing the internets for gen hands and other parts to add to the beauty and create my own lovely franken. Is my thinking correct? Can I put a Yuki in this watch case? What parts should I be looking for when I make this swap? Is the tube and crown from a gen gonna fit the Yuki and the SA3135 or just the Yuki? Sorry for all the questions but all the information I found seems dated. Thanks in advance.

From what I have heard, the SA3135 has correct exterior dimensions to the gen. This includes diameter, stem height, all the stuff that matters.

I think I have also heard the stem for the SA3135 is some no-name thing that is not standard, so the Y3135 and gen stem will not work on it.

I'm not sure if the SA3135 has interchangeable parts with the gen. If the SA3135 has gen dimensions then the crown, tube, Yuki, or gen 3135 should all drop into that case without a problem. I would start by searching to confirm the dimensions of the SA3135.

Yes, I ordered it from Tony Chen. I just know the sa3135 will crap out on me and even if it doesn't I plan on changing out the movement in time. It would be nice to know for sure that everything fits. I know the oem stem tube and crown will fit the Yuki and my plans are to fit the Yuki with gen crown stem and hands and have it serviced and installed all at the same time so I just want to make sure my birds are lined up and I am progressing in the right direction. So much information on the internets but some seems dated and I know there has been recent changes. Any and all information is appreciated. THX

I ordered it thinking he was the TD TC, I am awaiting my QC pics as we speak. I found out he wasn't the real deal after I sent my money in. I will wait it out and hope for the best. I will post the pics QC pics here and hope for the best. If I don't like it I will not accept it. Hopefully I can get my money back. Live and learn...

TC stands for Thomas Caddel (no secret as reported also at his blog).

Who is Tony Cheng? Le he is this guy: www.7750asian.com then do now worry, he is a TD, also if not here but on two forum.

Otherwise... Uhmmm...

No, but I have read many good things about Tony Chen in different blogs as well as here. He is with noobwatch.com and although not a TD now I think his old site hontwatch was. I will let you guys know how it goes and perhaps he can make the TD list. The more the merrier. I also e-mailed him that if he did right I will help him out by giving him props. In this game it only takes one bad experience to ruin you and so far thats all i found is one bad experience so I am guessing he is reputable. IMO

Hopefully it works out. In this hobby it pays to be patient and double check everything, I've learned that myself many times and I'm sure many of the members here will corroborate that.

Next time, best to verify your seller is a TD and that you're buying from the correct source!

Glad to have you aboard, there are some good guys from Texas, alligoat is from the Houston area I believe, and mymanmatt is from Dallas. Jmb is from up in the panhandle, which is a fer piece from Houston!! All you other Texans feel free to chime in and add your name to the list too

No dealers, but Matt(mymanmatt) is a wizard with building the best Rolex Datejusts and DayDates around, jmb is the go to guy for engraving case numbers, Rolex 1016's and high grade case/ bezel milling. Alligoat has forgotten more about Rolex builds than most of us know. All of them are good guys.

So I received my QC pics and the pearl was slightly off which is just no go for me. I told him to send it back to NOOB factory and get me a better one. He said a new batch will be released in 5 to 10 days. So I m awaiting new pics.
