naturopath Posted May 16, 2016 Report Share Posted May 16, 2016 Hey there, I picked up a TC sub from a forum member, and after I got the watch, the date does not turn over nor set correctly. It doesn't "click" or set, and the date wheel just spins and then never moves once the date is set. It isn't moving without trying to set the date. SSTEEL Posted May 16, 2016 Report Share Posted May 16, 2016 Unless this, average watchmaker is experienced with reps, then it stands a good chance he/she won't be able to sort this out as you need an alignment tool for this job. One must also remove all glue from both date wheel, and date wheel overlay, etch both surfaces, and then refit with slow cure adhesive whilst aligning with said tool.
