I'm sure there is a way, however I believe that most folks that leave, lose interest, etc. just quit visiting the forum. Of course you could do something really egregious and get yourself banned!! And Google indexes the site so your posts will live there for all eternity anyway. Best advice is to take a breather and come back in awhile and see if the old flame is rekindled. You can edit your profile yourself and remove the email if that is what concerns you. looking at your profile, the email is the only personal information that is posted that is visible to members.
