Advice for hunting down an MBW

Hi all,

I have set my sites on the next watch I wish to add to my collection and unfortunately for me I have chosen quite a doozy to find. My heart is rather set on the old MBW Patek 3800 and I'm wondering if anybody has any advice for tracking these down besides sitting around waiting for one to come up for sale. Is the source completely dry?
