As usual, Philipp produces great articles with copious details that are well worth a read. However, I disagree that a watch found in his 'Catalog style' is best, owing to the fact that Rolex often used a pre-production (unreleased) version of a model for their early marketing only to change details for the actual production run. When 1 of these 'Catalog style' watches are found, it turns out to be a franken assembled by an over-educated fanboy or Rolex 'authority'.
