Lume Colors

I built this watch the other day. I would like to relume the hands to match the dial. I guess it is hard to say from the photo. But what is the best match regarding lume? Superluminova C5 or Bergeon Green? any experience? Or do I have control of the color by using more or less of the compound.

I think that Superluminova C5 now is the best.

You are going to loose the second hand on all that dial lume. Have you considered a contrast colour for say, seconds and hours, like some Planet Oceans have?

Good point. But what would look good as a contrast color to the green lume?. I think the white does not look like a contrast color. It just looks wrong.

This is what I had in mind, but I think yellow and orange are possible

I get it. But more important for the look of the watch is the daylight color of the lume. So if I translate this color scheme to my watch I would use blue lume for the seconds an minute hand and green for the hour hand. And leave the dial color as is. No idea how that would look in daylight.... Isn't the blue lume usually white in daylight?

The special thing with the Omegas seems to be that the lume has all the same color in daylight but changes only in the dark.

Ja. You are more into this than me, but with the amount of Planet Ocean franken builds that have been done I would be surprised if someone doesn't have the answer to that.
