Raxford
Tough to consolidate this into a catchy title, but: I picked up a GMT Master II Pepsi on M2M and it's just a little too shiny. I love the look of aged watches, so I thought I'd try cooking the dial and bleaching the bezel insert to tone it down. Inevitably I'll get bored with the watch, because that's my main affliction, and will want to sell it. And so the question- Given the watch is the Master II, would you be less interested in it if it's "vintaged" a bit? Cheers!
HorFan
I think it needs at least a modicum of vintagizing just to be believable. I say go for it and have some fun making it old.Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

simonp67
Personally I’d leave it as is, buy one that’s vintage if that’s what you want. I wouldn’t buy one that someone has “aged” as you described but that’s me Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk Pro
