EDIT: See post #23 for details

Hi all

Apologies again for the delay. Please vote for your choice on this post and I'll go with the majority.

Polls close next Tuesday.

Assume a West End venue to be as central as possible to make it easy enough for everyone who chooses to come along.

Look forward to seeing your choices!

James

Edit: please add to this post when you've voted so we know who's in and to save me from having to keep bumping!

I hope we can start early'ish... I have to get home to Brighton so in the same boat!

I assume most people who plan to attend work/live fairly central so perhaps we can start 6.30/7.00'ish???

and yes, where is Gun City??!

Wow its a small world! I also live in Brighton!

I live and work in North London... the first Friday date seems ok at the moment but who knows? Off in Latvia 22-26th Feb.

Gun City is Nottingham, where V robs the rich (with his guns) and gives to the poor :bleh:

People going to want to bring lots of watches?

Can you wait until Nov so I can come too? Bloody rat bastards! Where's "gun city"?

Have another one in November ;)

And bring Kate Beckinsale back!

I am rarely available on Friday evenings.

Go, Group, go!

Other than that, any date, any venue will be OK for me.

What days are you available?

And anyone heard from Davey (he was at a previous meet with Clive, and A.N.Other)

Hi all

Yes apologies again, I have been slack.

Lets close the poll and go for the 16th.... I will choose a venue over the weekend and book a couple of tables and post the details next week.

Could all those who plan to attend please post here so I get a firm idea of numbers.

I should make it, though I reserve the right not to, if I'm broke!

Obviously people will bring watches and straps, anyone want to decide what to bring? No point everyone bringing a PAM111H unless you want to say "mine is closer to gen than yours na na na na na!" (and finepics will win anyway!).

If anyone has the Hublot Big Bang, Breitling Chronomat Evolution (Angus' version) and the PAM127 (been so long since I seen that in person!), Roger Dubuis Easy Diver, those would be the ones I'd want to see....

tonton has a lot of offbeat watches, so I'll have to figure out which of mine to bring.

Im 90% sure I can make it! Il be travelling up from Brighton if the fellow Brighton people want to arrange travel?

I've got a Chronomat on order from angus, so if it's here by then, Il bring it with me!!!

Could someone take an example of the Ultimate PO? :thumbsupsmileyanim:

Ok people... I've decided on a venue deep in the heart of watch land, within spitting distance of New Bond St!

This pub was chosen for a couple of reasons:

1. It's off the beaten track of tourists and shoppers so we should get some space once the office/workers crowd clears out at about 6.30.

2. It's close to Oxford Circus and Bond St tubes which gives good access to most major rail terminals.

Date: Friday 16th Feb

Time: from 6pm...

Location: Pitcher & Piano, 10 Pollen Street, Mayair, London W1S 1NQ Map

Entrance to the pub is on Pollen Street which is a small cobbled street running between Hanover St and Maddox St.

I suggest a few of us swap mobile numbers by PM before the event just in case people get lost, can't make it, etc.

I'll wait until next Monday to see how many people confirm attendance before booking a table.

Cheers!

James
