Hello,

I am wondering if someone can help. So I sourced a genuine rolex crystal to put on my TC Sub form a dealer on the Rolex Forum. The crystal came sealed in rolex packaging with two gaskets. I had one of our trusted watchmakers install the crystal for me. This weekend I had the watch worked on by a local watchmaker that was willing to work on my watch and he said there is no way my crystal is genuine. Is there a way to tell if the crystal that was installed on my watch is genuine or a replica?

Well, you bought in on the RLX forum, it was sealed bnib. Seems more to me that your local watch guy don’t know what he is talking about.

If someone on the RLX forum is selling rep parts/ fakes he gets roasted in 3 seconds.

Or guy that worked on watch switched parts. I sent a watch (to a known modder) with gen open 6 DW- came back with a rep DW. It happens.

Heard that happened a few times on RG too.....very sad that a modder uses the lack of knowledge of his customers to swith gen parts for rep parts...😤
