Mak413 Posted July 29, 2019 Report Posted July 29, 2019 Hello, I am wondering if someone can help. So I sourced a genuine rolex crystal to put on my TC Sub form a dealer on the Rolex Forum. The crystal came sealed in rolex packaging with two gaskets. I had one of our trusted watchmakers install the crystal for me. This weekend I had the watch worked on by a local watchmaker that was willing to work on my watch and he said there is no way my crystal is genuine. Is there a way to tell if the crystal that was installed on my watch is genuine or a replica?

projectologist Posted July 30, 2019 Report Posted July 30, 2019 If it has a LEC, based on what that looks like is an easy way to tell. Also, how the edges of the cyclops are finished is another easy way to tell.
