Interesting article about the El Primero movement and the man who was supposed to destroy the tooling.

In the article it says Rolex used the El Primero to replace the Valjoux 72 in the Daytona and that it needed no alterations to fit in the case.

I was wondering if  the chronograph dials on the El Primero  in the same location as the V72?  Is it possible to build a 6263 and use an El Primero movement?

The El Premero based movement (Rolex 4030) went in the later Daytonas (16520), not the 6263.

Thank you. So the V72 movement dials are in compatible with the El Primero?

That would be correct. Different subdial spacing.
